Done with the hCG diet….

So, you are done with the hCG diet.....

You have been successful and followed the program all the way through and still concerned you may gain weight back. Not to worry, as long as you have followed all the phases of the diet and locked in that weight loss you will be fine providing you have not fallen back into your old habits.

Remember when you did the maintenance phase of the program and added in one starch per day in week one and then two a day in week two and three in week three?  Use that as your guide to keep the weight off. Only add in the amount of starches per day your body can tolerate with out weight gain.

It gives you the guidelines to healthy eating. Fill your plate the following way. Half of your plate should be fruits and vegetables. Choose a variety of colorful fruits and vegetables. Include cooked and raw.

 One quarter of your plate should be grains.

One quarter should be protein. Choose chicken, fish, lean beef or pork, legumes, tofu or other protein foods. Choose a lowfat dairy product. Cut back on salt. Remember that highly processed foods are high in salt.

When choosing natural and fresh foods the calorie content is less and the food is much more nutritious. When your body is getting the nutritents it needs you will have more energy, you will sleep better, you will be more productive and you will feel happier and healthier.
