Cream of Chicken Soup

With the weather cooling down it is the perfect time for soup! You may not think soup is possible during the low calorie part of the MediLean diet but it is! Just follow this easy recipe and enjoy!

Ingredients:
 
3 oz cooked chicken breast
2 cups chopped Celery
1 ½ cups homemade chicken broth (strained of all fat and solids)
1 Tbsp milk
3 cloves garlic
1 T dehydrated minced onion or onion powder
1/2 t parsley
1/2 t basil
White pepper (to taste)
Salt (to taste)
 
1.   In food processor, combine all ingredients and pulse until reaches desired consistency.
2.   Preheat saucepan over MED-HI heat.
3.   Pour into saucepan and bring to boil.
4.   Reduce heat to simmer, cover, and heat 20-30 mins.
5.   Serve & Enjoy
