Corned Beef & Cabbage

Just in time for St. Patricks Day! A recipe allowed on the very low calorie diet portion of your program.


What you'll need

3 1/2oz of extra lean grass-fed brisket

1/2 head of cabbage, chopped

1-2 teaspoon(s) Mustard Powder

1/4 cup of liquid aminos - Braggs

1/4 cup apple cider vinegar

1 garlic clove, chopped

1/8 cup of finely chopped onions

Onion powder, garlic powder, salt, pepper to taste.



Season the beef and lightly dust with mustard, salt, pepper, onion & garlic powder. Put meat, garlic, onion and spices into a large pot and cover with water. Add vinegar and Braggs.

Bring to a boil and then reduce heat and simmer for 1 hour. Skim the fat
from the water as it rises. Add the cabbage to the pot and cook for an
additional 1-2 hours until the meat and cabbage are tender. Slice thinly
across the grain.
